NAT-RG1000 Top of Rail Friction Modifier

A unique patented nanotechnology friction modifier designed for on-board and trackside rail top applications. Controls friction coefficient to an optimal 0.3–0.4 range, reduces wear, noise, and lubricant consumption, while being water-resistant and easy to pump.

Product Overview

NAT-RG1000 is a unique friction modifier designed for on-board and trackside rail top applications. It controls the coefficient of friction between the rail surface and the wheel to an optimal range of 0.3 to 0.4 for best friction performance.

Highly suitable for both high-pressure and low-pressure delivery systems, NAT-RG1000 achieves optimal rail coverage. The patented nanotechnology friction modifier, combined with high-quality base oils and additives, provides excellent protection and extends the length of lubricated rail.

Key Advantages

  • Reduced Wear — Extends the life of rails and significantly extends the grinding interval.
  • Water Resistance — Helps prevent rust; suitable for heavy rain or damp conditions.
  • Noise Reduction — Eliminates high-frequency whistling.
  • Long Transport Distance — Reduces lubricant consumption and extends application intervals.
  • Excellent Fluidity — Easy to pump even at low pressure.

NAT-RG1000 does not interfere with steering, traction, or braking.
