Product Overview

NAT-R3001 is a high-performance rail curve grease with a biodegradable base oil. In wayside systems, it forms a vertical bead that is easily picked up, carries through multiple curves, and forms a clearly visible coating on the gauge face for ease of inspection.

NAT-R3001 empties evenly from the holding tank without slumping to form a “V,” minimizing pump cavitation. Unlike some vegetable-based products, it will not gel over time — it remains pumpable and does not plug ports.

Field experience shows that carry-down, rail coating, and wear protection are superior to other thickener-based rail curve greases — especially on rails under direct sunshine where gauge face temperatures can exceed 80°C.
