NAT-7099 Lithium EP Greases

Overview

NAT-7099 Lithium EP Greases are primarily designed for use in heavy earthmoving and industrial equipment. The high protection from extreme pressure makes them suitable for use anywhere high load is encountered.

Protection from wear under high load is accomplished by the use of SL-Tech, a proprietary blend of light-coloured solid lubricants. This forms a protective cushion and provides equal or greater extreme pressure properties than MoS₂ or graphite. Protection is further enhanced by the use of selected additives that increase film strength and adhesion.

Higher temperatures can be tolerated with increased lubrication frequency. The TK 2 grade has been used successfully in steel mill roll stands. A minimum order quantity applies to this grade in cartridges.

Service temperature range: -20°C to 180°C.

Applications

NAT-7099 grease is ideal for heavy-duty plant lubrication, earthmoving equipment, and any application involving extreme pressure at slow to medium speeds. Owing to the high base oil viscosity, do not use in electric motor bearings.
